my first video of our basic food storage. I believe there is chance of an economic collapse and there might be a food shortage. If this were to happen I want my family to be prepared. We have taken food storage steps for a SHTF scenario, we have also taken steps to store water, and we are building solar systems for charging batteries.

Bee update March 2012

23. April 2012

I didn’t plan on making a bee video today, but it was such a beautiful, sunny, breezy, early Spring day here in West Michigan. The temperature was approaching if not in the low 50′s. So, I took advantage of the weather to see how my bee hives were doing and remembered to take the video camera along. This will be my 3rd year of beekeeping. On a side note: My honey from last year is STILL in the frames stored in bins in the basement! Ugh! I want Tim to help me spin it out and process it, so finding a time when we’re both home and don’t have some other pressing project(s) going on for one or both of us has been the problem! But I will get to it before this year’s honey comes on (LOL) and will make a video to let you know how much we got.

How to Make a Fatwood Candle for Wilderness Survival, Equip 2 Endure

21. April 2012

amzn.to I hope everyone is having a Happy Holiday. Just wanted to post a quick survival tip in regards to making a candle from fatwood. Fatwood or fatlighter is the high resin content stump of a pine tree that is awesome for starting fires. You can also use it to make wax-less candles. www.equip2endure.com

Here are some firearms that I think would be useful if the SHTF. I talk about what I have chosen, and why. This is not meant to be the last say for SHTF firearms, just a relatively cost effective solution. A pistol, a 22 rifle, a shotgun, and a semi auto high cap rifle, all for under 00! Thanks for watching.
