I have the Myth-Busters to thank for the title of today’s post.
They claim that free energy is an illusion.
Well, Myth-Busters, Yer busted. Face it. You couldn’t even assemble a Bedini mono-pole correctly. Trying out the Minto wheel, You failed miserably again.
The rest of the show was more of the same. Funny, because I was handed links to the episodes in question as proof positive that the said devices didn’t work as advertised.
Another device You panned down was this free energy circuit. I have seen output of 3.5 volts to 14.5 volts on the circuit. The trick to the circuit is all in the capacitors to a point. Capacitors tend to charge up by themselves if not stored with the leads shorted. The second secret to it is the antenna. to get more current from the circuit, The experimenter needs to tune the antenna to resonant frequencies. In other words you need to match the antenna to the various frequencies to maximize the output. I decided in my adaptation of  the device to use a “birdcage antenna” or a cage dipole. 6 to 12 wires arranged in parallel. I haven’t been through all the combinations as of yet.
Combinations being: Vertical 30 foot, Horizontal east west orientation, Horizontal north south, And combinations of the strands, not to mention various loadings of the antenna.
Dumping the antenna lead through a redundant lightning arrester.
I used homemade capacitors for my first try. Beer bottle saltwater types.
Leyden jars in the modern age. DIY capacitor link.
The plan calls for certain caps of various farad ratings and my plan is to substitute the salt water caps rated at each point in the circuit using way beeg leyden jars at the location of the electrolytic can caps. Diodes in the circuit are gang diodes in parallel. I substituted 4 diodes parallel at each diode location to insure  the circuits longevity. I’m still testing the initial circuit and may increase to 3 of these circuits in parallel to maximize output.
But, only after I max the output from the antenna single circuit combo.
A good earth ground  ( make it redundant) is key to this and other circuits success. To paraphrase a Tesla quote. “My machines have to have a firm grip of the earth, To shake the earth.”

He has the diagram that I have been working from. I just am trying to use the older style DIY capacitors for a greater effect. O may even try some DIY diodes in the near future.

Last post was 7-5-10, Wow.
Well, I been playing with free energy devices.
My hackles got raised by some over edu-ma-kated fools
who were putting Saint Nikola (Tesla) down.
Now that’s downright revolting and repugnant to me.
Seems the guy who invented the ignition coil and AC
electric deserves better. Hell, if you are reading this on a CRT
monitor, Well there’s a few more of Tesla’s ideas making that go too.
Tesla had him some weird ideas about cheap and or free electric that never caught on. Matter of fact, Most educators declare a lot of his ideas hokum, even though they are present everyday, everywhere.
Long story gets cut down right here and nipped in the bud.
I do not feel like typing the long version anyhow.
If it were not for the fact, that I had seen demonstrated one of his ideas as a youngster, Well, I might be skeptical too.
An older man who was a friend of my grandfather showed-demonstrated a Tesla inspired device constructed of a spark plug and an ignition coil hooked up to a long wire antenna with a corresponding ground. Oops, I forgot about  a capacitor was hooked up there someplace too.  That thing sparked chattered and buzzed, but there was current coming of the terminals of the ignition coil. I never forgot that day.
So, as of lately I have been working with a somewhat larger version.
Instead of an ignition coil, I’m using a 3 foot tall Passive Tesla coil with a primary made of 3/8 inch copper tubing and  the secondary is wrapped up from some 16 AWG wire I had laying about.

this was just a piece of available wire wrapped on a 3 inch schedule forty core with a

primary made from a piece of scrap 3/8 copper tubing. The ground was a tent peg sunk

about 6 inches into the earth. The capacitive top load looked like something fabbed up

after the jetsons style. stainless ball top with alternating metal (hard drive discs) and plastic disks on a

non-conductive core atop a section of stainless standoff connected to the secondary coil.

To do list:

Need a good digital VOHM. these cheap harbor freight- wallymart ones blow up easy.

Get a serious ground setup. 2 or more copper clad rods installed 10 feet apart in series.

Change the secondary to a longer winding of bought wire of slightly smaller gauge (AWG).

Change the height of the primary windings to about 1.5 inches above the secondary.

Double the length of the primary winding.

Fab up some more capacitive top loads of varying ratings.

Expectations after mods:

Actual volt (?V) readings from the improved receiver coil design.

Dump the V into a tank cap and oscillate out some usable current.

Given the high amount of EMF and ground saturation at this location,

I speculate that the source of the energy that I am trying to tap is plain old EMF pollution.

If this is so then there should be several distinct sweet spots to tap

on the primary to get a wide range of currents.
