Check out the Kel-Tec KSG Bullpup. If you are waiting to purchase just one shotgun and want it tactical, it’s set up pretty well, 14+1 capacity and built in picitinny rails and only 26 in. in overall length. That’s my next purchase, once one is in stock. Might have to get on a list at your FFL.

If one is really looking to be “low buck” they can purchase the cartridge/caliber conversion inserts for the 12 ga. and use .22 lr or even pistol calibers.

Were on the same page…I currently have DPMS AR15, Ruger 10/22, Mossberg 500, and just added Taurus 24/7 G2 (love it). Unfortunately, the AR and Taurus are somewhat cost prohibitive to shoot so my 10/22 is getting used like a urinal at a beer drinking contest. As for the tac gear, When I find it cheap I wont pass it up…found a gregory assault pack (new) and a voodoo tactical chest rig with hydration pack for $30 bucks each.

I agree 100% with the 12 gauge, my choice as well. I would choose the .22 for concealed carry over the .25 any day of the week. The .22 is not a toy by any means.
For someone with little firearms experience take which ever gun you can hit stuff with regardless of the caliber. For example my wife would get my 686 plus because she shoots best with it and knows how it works.

I have an SKS (7.62) and a Glock 26, and I’m getting a Baretta Storm (Riffle, 9mm) but you convinced me, I need a tactical 12 Gauge, so that will probably be next.

bows are always fun, especially when you dont want to have a ringin in your ears the day after shooting. I come from the great white north as well, i acquired a restricted weapons permit within 2 months, a friend of mine has his prohibited permit the only thing that can stop you is having a criminal record of violent crime…..

if your looing for single shot i would go with New England firearms, but if you are going for a pump i would go with the mossberg maverick 88 or New England firearms also makes a nice pump shotgun
