Vacuum Sealing house hold Bottles for food storage. I use this when i need to open a 5gal super pail. It would take for ever to eat 50 lb of rice. So i repack it into smaller containers and seal back up the bucket.

That was a great video, I keep wanting to get a sealer for jars and they are only like 10 bucks but you don’t get super saver shipping lol so I keep putting it off, this works awesome, thanks for posting the video. Joe

Hmmm … I would check to see if the interior seal of the jar is nicked. If not i would try plumes tap on the threads or a different jar. Dukes mayonnaise work’s well for me.

I found a wall hanging suction cup, drilled a hole just smaller than my food saver attachment in it, and actually got this to suck all the air out of a plastic mayo jar with lentils in it. It lasted about 20 seconds. Of course I was kneeding the container that was crush filled with lentils, and all of a sudden, I could see spaces forming and I knew there was air in there, and it started to expand again. It’s coming from the lid threads I think. This is not feasible. NOW WHAT ??

I look at the part and remembered its from a
“MV8000 Automotive Tune-up and Brake Bleeding Kit”
you can search for a “hand vacuum pump” on Google.
But any auto auto parts store should carry the piece by its self or in a small kit.

This is EXCELLENT. Can you tell me where you got that little rubber adapter that your suction tube is attached to? I cant think of where or what I can get for that. Thanks so much. I need to know ASAP. Thanks
