^5 to lastquest. I’m a 43 y/o man taking care of my 68y/o mother in a wheelchair, my brother’s 2 teenage children, and now another teenager that needed a safe and secure home.. So I am also getting started with learning to store food for long term to make sure they will be taken care of. I also bought things for canning, a food sealer and now bought a dehydrator after watching Tammy’s videos. THANK YOU TAMMY for all your knowledge. I subscribed to your channel and am learning a LOT! God bless!

Do you know what a typical storage time is for dehydrated fruits and vegetables?
October 17th, 2012 at 6:19 pm
I had to chuckle, I’m a 24 year old recently married man and I spend a lot more time on this stuff than my wife. Love the videos and tips!
October 17th, 2012 at 6:19 pm
OMG Starving…
October 17th, 2012 at 6:22 pm
Such excellent presentations are so helpful. Wish I could watch while I am doing it. We have to go next door to use our neighbors really old dehydrator. They took 5 days to dry raisins. I don’t think that sounded right.
October 17th, 2012 at 6:26 pm
You should have a show on Food Network!!!
October 17th, 2012 at 7:08 pm
You have an awesome kitchen!
October 17th, 2012 at 8:06 pm
Thanks for the tips, dried fruit is very good and your ideas are excellent, thanks very much.

YUMMY apple pancake!!!
October 17th, 2012 at 9:26 pm
To bad the Excalibur Dehydrator is 2 x as expensive in Europe.
October 17th, 2012 at 9:37 pm
when you do the sweet potatoes, what do they look like when they are done, are they flexible or more crisp?? how long does it take in the Excalibur 3900, I did some and not sure if they are done right ???
October 17th, 2012 at 9:50 pm
I did my fruit and it didn’t look like yours especially the oranges, are they to be brittle or alittle flexable? I have not tried anything else except the strawberries, not sure if I did those right either/
October 17th, 2012 at 9:54 pm
I really enjoy your videos but I’m curious about the claim that it doesn’t cost anything to preserve food through dehydration. How much power does the Excalibur (which I’m buying soon!!!) actually use, how many watts is it? It seems like running anything for 8 to 12 hours would be pretty expensive, not to mention the added cost of pre boiling some foods.

THANK YOU! I have watched ALL of your Videos Many Times. I have copied many of your recipes from your Web Site.
I have bought a Dehydrator, Apple Peeler, Vacuum Packer, Grain Mill, Mason Jars, and have used all your tips.

October 17th, 2012 at 11:59 pm
I just love these videos. Can watch em all day. Oh yeah I did !
October 18th, 2012 at 12:54 am
I’ve been watching your video’s and I
am drying Texas sweet onions now.
I hope to make some onion powder and
chopped pieces. The banana’s are
really good. I sprinkled cinnamon on
them and they are so good. I love the
fruit and vegetables I have done.
You need to be a affilate . Go to the
Excalibur website. I saw your video’s on their site. You need to make some money for all your work you have put into this. My opinion . I want the one you use….
October 18th, 2012 at 1:39 am
I’m so hungry for that apple pancake!!
