What I observed when my region experienced a long term power outage.

On the Monday, March 19 edition of the Alex Jones Show, Alex talks with former comedian, activist, social critic, writer, and entrepreneur Dick Gregory. On Friday, Mr. Gregory was arrested along with actor George Clooney, his father and others outside the Sudanese embassy. Gregory and Clooney were protesting against the Sudanese government of Omar al-Bashir and its efforts to block food and aid from entering the Nuba Mountains in the county’s border region with South Sudan. Alex also talks about the latest on Obama’s unconstitutional National Defense Resources Preparedness executive order and how the corporate media ignored statement paves the way for martial law. Alex also covers the latest news and takes your calls. www.dickgregory.com WEBSITES TO CHECK OUT: youtube.com Astonisher.wordpress.com http youtube.com facebook.com twitter.com DailyPaul.com http CampaignForLiberty.org http Infowars.com http Infowars.com InfowarsTeam.com http PrisonPlanet.com http Infowars.net http EndgameTheMovie.com http archive.org ConstitutionPreservation.org http WeAintGotTimeToBleed.com http TrendsResearch.com http MaxKeiser.com http WeAreChange.org http Youtube.com Adask.wordpress.com http OathKeepers.org http www.Mises.org http EarthPulse.com http SurvivalBlog.com http FrontSight.com http DemocratsAgainstUNAgenda21.com http adamvstheman.com http FAIR USE NOTICE: This video may contain copyrighted material. People should be worried more about issues like this instead for which Ex CEO of Goldman Sachs or oil tycoon is running for president. When the SHTF for real you’ll be better off knowing how to skin a buck and run a trotline instead of watching CNN or FOX news. Great video, you should do some on dehydrating and storing foods etc..

I can’t tell you why, but I hear it both ways. On my PC, I hear you clearly and the audio sounds fine. On my Atrix, however, the intro music sounds good but then when it cuts to you speaking it is just a bunch of squealing and screeching.

    The breakdown:
    ————————————–
    PC – good
Android Smartphone (YouTube client) – squeaky, unreadable
Android Smartphone (browser/flash) – squeaky, unreadable
Android Tablet (YouTube client) – good
    Android Tablet (browser/flash) – good

I was one of the lucky ones to still have power when the storm went through. And I felt guilty for having AC when so many didn’t. I helped other people, as much as I could. I did find ice for my daughter…….got her 6 big bags. Then she couldn’t find anywhere to get coolers to put it in. Everywhere that was open was sold out. She is a prepper also and found out what she needed to work on. I also learned a lot in this mini SHTF. Thanks for sharing, and take care

Very few videos prompt me to go out to buy something. I went out and bought a holster for my Hi Point .45, which is my house gun, so I can carry on my hip. It balances will with my Mosin ammo pouches so I don’t walk funny with all the weight from the HP. I don’t have a lot to spend so I have a Hi Point and a couple Mosins. Good video, it made me think about things some. Thanks for making this one.

Its obviously not HD audio quality, but it sounds fine on my end, no squeals. Good info, I had the same experience in Florida during hurricane Andrew and Opal. There was a lot of price jacking going on especially with ice, water and generators.

What can you store a larger quanity of gas in? Something bigger than a one gallon can?

  9. 1anthonybrowning Says:

cont. I am willing to help those in need in any way I can, but they have to ask for it. That is where I draw the line. It is up to everyone to make their own decision, draw their own line and that is where I draw mine and I know it. I will not need to debate it under stress.

Looters should be shot. The theft of gas for a generator could kill someone on an at home medical support device, ie home O2 generator, or the ability to keep medicine at proper temperature like insulin. Theft of ice, same thing for insulin. In my mind a thief is a vile little worm and if a thief/looter tries to steal from me in such a situation then that person chooses to risk his life.

If this happens for 30 days a lot of people i know will literally die a slow painful death

Unless I am wrong, I don’t think Solar panels will help you run your refrigerator, air conditioning and lighting throughout the night. You can most likely leave your refrigerator off for the night and still keep your food fresh if you keep the door closed and store plenty of ice inside. A small solar array will power up your house lamps (be sure to use energy efficient CFL bulbs) and maybe your tv and computer.

    sounds fine to me

record in a bigger room with more things on wall instead of hard walls because that will change the pitch in the recording

p.s. the sound is fine on my computer. you don’t sound squeally at all. And in 2008 when my power went out, all I could think to myself was “there is no ice in hell”. Maybe that is why people were freaking out. That is what made me start prepping. Can’t prep ice though.

  21. PrepperLePew Says:

i live in the same area with the same power outage! Walmart closed immediately. All the gas stations were done. One large grocery/ department had it’s doors open and they had about 20 employees scrambling to empty all of the freezer sections or tie the doors shut. It was surreal. Back in 2008 when we had Hurricane Ike blow through OHIO, it took out power for some people for 3 to 4 weeks. They had to bring in the national guard to hand out water, then they had to stay to keep the peace.

Thanks for posting this update Brother! This is very, very important information for people to see. Hopefully they will wake up and start prepping and beef up their preps. Anthony.

People will do anything for there own survival accept plan for a SHTF indecent lack of power, food, water, gas and most thing that the sheep out there have become accustom too in there daily life’s will cause riots to occur. If we had more preppers in America we’d less crime.

  25. ChannelTheron Says:

We lost power for a cpl days a cpl wks ago too. Those generators are loud at nite.I’d like to look into some solar panels after listening to that for two nites.
