I agree that a tac light is essential on any defensive rifle, or pistol for that matter. Theydon’t do you much good unless you can see what you’re shooting at. Just remember to light it up, engage, and MOVE! Good vid!

Great info! This is why I prefer the AR platform. So versital. It’s no wonder why it’s over 50 years old and STILL going strong!

My thery is that senice steel is hot longer than brass. The steel causes to much resistence for the extractor claw. So it strips over it causing a failure to eject. I don’t shoot steel but in fix is simple replacing the buffer with a heavyer one. Slowing th recipical rate and not having the case get striped.

yes, you are probably right. but he did it acidently anyway. But i have seen a few guys that mount theyr bipod that way. to me it just makes no sense, except it cant be mounted the other way.

Cool review. What kind of ammo do you use for your bushmaster? I heard steel cased ammo is a problem for ar’s.

If you just drill a couple holes, you can put that rail on your standard hand guards. I took mine to a belt sander to angle the light back to the point of aim.

i just bought a UTG light for my AR15 tuesday. it came with a pressure switch, which i have on it for now. my only issue with that is there is alot of excess cord between the light and the switch. i taped up the excess so that its not hanging out or snagging anything, but i dont like the way that looks, doesnt look very, as you say “sexy” lol. any suggestions? and is the AR in the video a bushmaster Carbon 15? thats what im rockin right now

The bipod closes toward to end of the barrel. When I first mounted it on the Armalite I had it backwards but that was quickly reversed. I just didn’t realise I had mounted it that way. Thanks Bro~

I use a Surefire G2 light on my AR and my Mossy 500 with a Viking Tactics mount. Both are mounted for thumb mashing. Prolly will duplicate for my Kel-Tec PLR-16. Great vid! I did have a bad flashback though seeing those A2 grips and those heat shields…lol.

hey don my friend, just a quick question. i`ve seen that one of your AR`s has a reverse fixed bipod. could you explane me the reson for that? because i think that makes no sense, because when you shoot (especialy high powered rifles) i think i could snap back up? i hope you know what i mean
i still love and watch all your vids. hows the bayonet working out for you so far? keep it up my friend!
